“Can’t speak highly enough of this place. We were heading out camping only to find our camping spot was taken despite booking, and had travelled for hours. No accommodation available anywhere, until we decided to pull into Ocean Road Motel. 8.30 at night and Paul was so accommodating. He had a last minute cancellation, and happened to have a queen room available. Friendly and helpful, room was so clean, and the views of the ocean cove were just Wish we could have stayed another night but unfortunately the motel was fully booked. Will definitely be back again!!”

“This is the best place to enjoy a night or two if you are travelling to Great Ocean Road. The place is awesome and the most important is the hospitality. We forgot the name of the lady who manages the motel, but she is on her 70's but she is an amazing property manager. The rooms have bed heater which gives you peace sleep. For the breakfast, they have a huge kitchen and specious dinning facilities. Our breakfast was delicious. The manager played a musical instrument and her dog (Red) was singing the song, an amazing experience. My entire family is very happy with this place and the place has become highlights of our trip to the great Ocean drive.”

“Management staff were absolutely fantastic and friendly. We stayed on New years eve and we were kindly given front view of the ocean at no extra cost. Room and facilities was perfect to our needs. Highly recommend this place if you are travelling between Lorne and Apollo Bay.”

“One of the best most simplistic motel we’re ever stayed at. Paul and his lovely wife made sure our stay was perfect with a very welcoming space. Words cannot comprehend the hospitality and services provided by the team at Ocean Road Motel. The team provided a gift/refreshments for us with out a mention during our anniversary getaway stay for 2 nights. “My partner and I were travelling down the Great Ocean Rd from Torquay to Adelaide. We booked into the Ocean Road Motel because we loved the quiet location, just out of town, surrounded by hills and straight across from the beach. The views and peacefulness of this place is only the beginning. The staff are so friendly and I love knowing I’m helping support a family owned business. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. This place had everything we needed. They also catered for dining so you didn’t have to cook for the trip or eat takeout. Highly recommended”

“We recently stayed here at Ocean Road Motel for a couple of nights whilst visiting Melbourne from Sydney and wanted somewhere along the GOR to stay to allow time to explore and this Motel was just the perfect place to relax, explore & enjoy the amazing view from our room. The staff are amazing and extremely friendly and happy to provide assistance with places to eat & visit during our stay. The bed was super comfy and the amenities, although a little older, were great including the shower which was amazing! Thank you for making our stay a great one & we will certainly be back to stay when back down that way!”

“We made a great choice choosing to stay here. Planned on staying one night, then we quickly decided to extend our stay to three nights. The location was beautiful, gorgeous view and a sense of isolation (yet town being less than a 10 minute drive away). The man running the place was so warm and accommodating and seemed to be more than happy to help us. He had great knowledge of the local area and was able to let us know what attractions were best in town. We're very much open to the idea of returning again!”

“Great services, great location. 2 bedroom unit was accomodating. Comfortable bedding with a simple clean bathroom, shower head nice and powerful. Fully contained kitchen, although if needing to use the top stove, it shouldn’t be restricted. A few little things do need some attention- sliding door area needs to be ensured its a little more cleaner, a small 2 seater outdoor furniture would be nice if preferred to sit under shelter right outside the rooms instead of having a single chair and better more comfortable couches needed. Other than a few of those little negative things that need to be addressed, we would like to return again.”
